Synopsis

A peek into the home lives of the children in Morinoniya's daycare.

Long Summary

Satoru spills his coffee in dismay as he watches TV. The show he is watching features young girls around Kirin's age talking about kissing and marriage. Satoru cries as he grabs Kirin, exclaiming that he will not let those "beasts" come near his cute Kirin. He panics so much that Yayoi slaps him to calm him down. Satoru then seriously asks Kirin if she likes anyone, to which she replies that she likes everyone, but she still loves her mother the most. She jumps into her mother's arms as Satoru takes pictures of the two together. However, Satoru is left feeling alone and left out, telling Kirin not to forget about him.

Taka bawls on the floor as Hayato reads a magazine. Taka does not stop his tantrum, so Hayato slams his magazine down, shocking Taka. Hayato glares at him, but tosses a hat and coat at Taka, saying that he cannot take Taka to the hero convention, but can take him to the park. Taka excitedly runs to the door as Hayato puts on his coat. Hayato hits him, calling him an idiot. Taka hits him back, saying the one who calls someone an idiot is an idiot.

Yutaka shaves his beard and asks Yukari how he looks, saying that he has not shaved in a while. Midori starts to cry when she sees his face, so Yukari quickly tells Yutaka to put a Santa mask on, which stops Midori's crying. Yutaka is rather sullen to see that Midori thinks he looks strange without a beard. Yukari asks why he suddenly decided to shave his beard. He explains that all the fathers at the daycare center seem so young and that he stands out as some strange, bearded old man. Yukari leans on her husband, saying that he is the world's most gentle husband and is very proud of him. Yutaka tells Yukari that she is the world's prettiest wife. At Inui's home, Inui senses that his chest hurts.

Kousuke comes home to see Umi and the twins watching a movie that he stars in. However, they have reached a kissing scene, so he rapidly turns off the TV and tells Umi not to watch such things with their sons. Kousuke looks at Umi, who is crying, and panics, assuring her that he was only acting and that she is the only one he loves. Umi turns the TV back on and complains that Kousuke interrupted at the best part. She also notes that if he is hungry, there is fried rice in the fridge. Seeing that Umi was not feeling jealous, Kousuke collapses on the floor, ashamed that he assumed such a thing. Takuma and Kazuma then kiss his cheeks. Umi stands up and kisses his forehead, telling him that he has worked hard. She sits him down on the couch, telling him that they should watch together. Kousuke becomes embarrassed at the idea of watching his own show.

Ryuu and Kotaro have fallen asleep on the floor, so the chairwoman pulls a blanket over them. She tells Saikawa that they do not need to carry them to their room and to leave them be. She tells him that he can go home and rest, to which Saikawa complies. As he is walking home, Usaida calls out to him. Usaida asks if he wants to go out for a drink with him. At the restaurant, the manager tells Usaida that he should not bring mannequins into the store while Usaida wonders why Saikawa has not moved an inch since they had arrived.
