Long Summary[]

Ch69Image1

Kazuma refuses to go to the barber.

In the Mamizuka household, Takuma and Kazuma drink milk as Umi looks at their hair, which has grown quite long. Kazuma refuses to go to the barber as he hides behind the curtains and cries. Umi consoles him, saying the barber is nice, and Takuma exclaims that he likes him. Kazuma, on the other hand, is afraid of him since he looks like a punk. Kazuma continues to cry, so Umi hugs him and tells him that they do not have to go. Umi puts sheets around their bodies and declares that she will cut their hair. She starts to dampen Takuma's bangs and holds her scissors up to his hair.

Ch69Image2

Umi accidentally messes up Takuma's bangs.

Just then, Kousuke enters the room, causing Umi to flinch and snip off Takuma's hair when she was not ready. Takuma now has very short, straight bangs. Kousuke immediately apologizes, but Umi dismisses his concern, saying that Takuma's bangs are nice and short now. When it is Kazuma's turn, he starts to cry and shake. Kousuke asks if perhaps she had cut Takuma's bangs too short, but she says that Takuma is still cute, even though Kazuma might not like it. As Takuma looks into the mirror, Umi starts to regret cutting it so short and apologizes to Takuma for making them too short. However, Takuma smiles, praising his mother for being a good barber. Kazuma cries that he wants to match with Takuma, so Umi cuts his hair accordingly.

Twinsshortbangs

Takuma and Kazuma are happy to see that Kirin also has straight bangs.

At the daycare center, Usaida and Ryuuichi look at the twins intently, for their straight bangs are different from their usual hairstyle. Umi explains that she had to cut their hair shorter in order to make their bangs match. Usaida says that they look cute and heartwarming. Kazuma is still a little embarrassed, but Ryuu reassures him that he is cute. Kirin enters the room, and they all notice that she has short, straight bangs as well. Kirin holds the twins' hands and says that she is a big sister. Kirin and the twins become very excited. Kotaro feels his own hair, wanting to also match. Ryuu says that because his hair is too short, he cannot have his hair cut to look the same as the others.

Ch69Image3

Hayato thinks of mushrooms when he looks at everyone's straight-bang hairstyles.

Yayoi appears behind Ryuu and puts wigs on Kotaro, Midori, and Ryuu. Kirin is excited to act as a big sister to everyone while Usaida takes a picture of Ryuu in a wig to send to Inui. Umit asks Kazuma if he is starting to like his hair, and Kazuma smiles and nods. Hayato enters the room and asks what the children are doing, seeing the children's mushroom-like hair. He asks why Ryuu is wearing a feminine wig again. Taka has been left out, so he points at Kazuma and calls his hair weird and uncool, upsetting Kazuma. Hayato hits Taka, telling him to shut up, and turns to Kazuma, telling him not to cry. He says that Kazuma can just take the "wig" off and puts his hand onto his head, trying to lift off the "wig."

Ch69Image5

Takuma and Kazuma get haircuts.

He cannot lift it off, however, and he thinks that the "wig" has been glued down. Kazuma starts to bawl, and Ryuu, Umi, and Usaida explain that Kazuma and Takuma are not wearing wigs. Hayato feels flustered as Takuma and Kirin yell at him for being mean. Hayato tries to explain that he did not think his hair was weird but that he just thought it was a wig. Taka asks Hayato if he wants to apologize with him. Kazuma cries incredibly loudly in his mother's arms, while Hayato has a depressed and embarrassed expression on his face. Ryuu notes that this is his first time seeing Hayato so depressed.

Umi brings the twins to the barber, who says that the twins' bangs are super cute. He asks Kazuma why he was afraid of him, saying his hair is like a horse's mane, and Kazuma does not cry while getting his haircut.
